Thanks to seed fund award Maltese startup Thought3D starts shipping their first product – 3D printing glue

What is MAGIGOO? It’s a magic glue that doesn’t stick!

If you are not in 3D printing, you might not know, that one have to stick the first layer of whatever one wants to print.  A common problem with the existing substances is that – it’s really hard to “un-stick” an item once it is printed. That is especially big problem for fragile items.

Thought3D – Malese startup, that resides in TAKEOFF Business Incubator – has come up with a magical solution – MAGIGOO – a special 3D printing glue.

As Keith Azzopardi and Edwarg Borg – founders of Thought3D put it:

MAGIGOO has been developed to help get the first layer of your 3D print to stick by exhibiting strong adhesive properties under 3D printing conditions. It then releases with minimal effort once the print is complete and cools down. This allows even very delicate items to be printed first go, as the removal process is totally effortless.”

Thought3D were one of the 5 startups to win Takeoff Seed Fund Award (TOSFA). This seed funding will help Thought3D to take MAGIGOO to market. MAGIGOO is available in packs of 8 x 50ml bottles costing €104 (last for over 800 prints).

If you are interested in the product – take your chance to benefit from great discounts while the company is just entering the market space 🙂
